Sarah Sparks, a member of our talent acquisition team, volunteered as a buddy for the elderly. She turned physical distancing into socialization over the phone. “I really enjoyed getting to know my elderly buddy during our weekly talks. Since her family is still in NYC, I was happy to keep her company over the phone.” Listening and communicating is a valuable skill for a recruiter and Sarah showed us why it’s important to practice it even outside of work.
