Andre St. Amour is the St. Hyacinthe plant manager for General Mills Canada. When asked what he loves about his role, St. Amour said: "I have the pleasure to work with a dedicated team of employees who love to make the best artisanal yogurt in Canada. We serve Canadians by providing them with a wide choice of delicious yogurt. We also provide a livelihood to about 80 local families that provide us our farm fresh milk each day. What I really love about my job is the connection we have with dairy farming. I grew up on a farm and it’s in my blood. Having this connection with the farms and knowing where our food comes from energizes me every day." His passion for the dairy industry was featured in a recent “Dairy Processors Association of Canada” article: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQwsP

This means working differently with farmers, engaging differently with consumers and partnering differently with stakeholders – within and beyond our organization. We all have a role to play. I am unbelievably honored and excited to be part of General Mills during this pivotal time!"

Clare Ryal is a senior business account manager for General Mills UK. She leads the commercial management of our Yogurt business for one of the UK’s major supermarkets, Asda. Ryal recently received Asda's coveted "Account Manager of the Year" award for her understanding of and passion for Asda and their customers. When asked about her commitment to her customers, Ryal said: “I thrive off of a challenge. Turning a business around requires a growth mindset, an obsession over your customer and incredible tenacity. I believe that all of this isn’t possible unless you demonstrate strong listening skills, confidence, and energy with your customer. Similar to how our brands are focused on our consumers, I am focused on understanding and driving the customer’s agenda in order to drive our brand’s growth. Working cross functionally with our category development, marketing and supply chain teams to develop creative customer solutions is crucial to upholding our company values. It’s equally important that our customers see us as easy-to-do business and work in an open and transparent way."
