Lori Mayer has worked for Genesis HealthCare for more than 18 years and is the Company's Vice President of Communications. With the help of her 14 year old daughter, Hailey, they approached Hailey's sewing school, Love to Sew Studio, for handmade masks to give to Genesis residents. In total, 20 Love to Sew student volunteers, along with other community volunteers, have made more than 4,000 masks for local hospitals and nursing homes. Lori and Hailey were able to acquire 250 masks, which were donated to several Genesis locations such as Brandywine Hall in West Chester, PA, Naamans Creek Country Manor in Garnet Valley, PA and The Belvedere Center in Chester, PA.
