Over the past several months, our dedicated road warriors put in the work and accrued the miles to show for it. From coast to coast, members of our national sales and account management teams enjoyed networking with all attendees at national tradeshows and conventions to highlight why we’re a better kind of local pharmacy.
Guardian recently hosted its HR Summit, bringing 23 human resource professionals from across the county together in Atlanta to discuss important topics like talent acquisition, retention, onboarding, compensation, supervisor training and benefits. The summit included an entertaining team-building exercise courtesy of a live game show. Congratulations to the green team for taking home the victory!
We were back in person and ecstatic to host our annual Presidents and Sales meeting in Atlanta for the first time since 2020! The three-day event is an opportunity for our presidents, salespeople, account managers, and support services teams to discuss industry trends and best practices, take a deeper dive into soon-to-launch new service offerings and once again enjoy the genuine camaraderie that is so unique across our Guardian teams. We look forward to watching how our time together will benefit the communities and residents we serve.
Our Guardian team had a great time teeing it up for a great cause. We enjoyed being a platinum sponsor for Phoenix Senior Living’s golf tournament hosted at Bear’s Best Atlanta in Suwanee, Ga. Money raised benefited the Phoenix Rising Fund, which helps associates who face unforeseen personal hardships. Our fearsome foursome of Fred Burke, David Whitlock, Rusty Conway and Matt Hopp, MBA represented Guardian on the course while Taylor Smalling, PMP, MPH and Shelley Champagne greeted teams at the first tee.

These four drivers at Guardian Mid-South never wavered about fulfilling their duty and showed courageous resolve in the midst of the pandemic. Despite being at high-risk over the age of 65, they carried on, driving more than 100 miles some days to transport medication to more than 3,500 residents. THANK YOU, gentlemen!
Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta’s president Matt Hopp, MBA and his staff proudly worked Christmas Eve to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to Sterling Estates residents. Their efforts helped these seniors be among the first in Georgia to receive the vaccine!
