Last week, US Army CPT Jake Murphy and his family were presented the keys to their beautiful new smart home in North Texas. H-E-B, in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, gifted a mortgage-free, fully-furnished, specially-adapted custom home to this brave American hero. More than 120 Central Market and H-E-B Partners attended this special celebration. Special thanks to the Plano Central Market Team, Executive Chef Brian Johnson and the Dallas Lovers Lane Central Market Team, and the Fort Worth Central Market Team for all their efforts and the amazing meals they prepared for the family and the people in attendance at the celebration. Since 2013, H-E-B and the H-E-B Tournament of Champions Charitable Trust have worked with organizations to donate about two dozen mortgage-free homes to wounded Veterans in Texas.
