At H&R Block, we are on a mission to level the playing field for female college athletes. Now that college athletes are able to profit from their name, image and likeness (NIL), women are getting fewer sponsorship opportunities and less compensation than their male peers. We’re partnering with some of the most impressive female athletes in the NCAA and committing $1 million in sponsorships and support to help give women a fair shot at earning income through NIL deals.
Members of the Marketing & Experience Extended Leadership Team recently hosted a Feed the Funnel party with The Pack Shack. Volunteers assembled more than 2,500 shelf-stable meals that were donated to The Salvation Army Kansas & Western Missouri. The meals were created by adding several dry ingredients to a bag that is weighed and heat sealed. They’re delicious, nutritionally balanced, easy to prepare and attractively packaged. It’s the most fun we’ve had while wearing a hairnet, gloves and face covering! Click the link to learn about Block's effort to Make Every Block Better: https://www.makeeveryblockbetter.com/
