Some of Michael's responsibilities include the design of sanitary systems using Civil 3D and the construction inspection/management of various wastewater projects. In honor of Mother’s Day, H2M architects + engineers' Women’s Leadership ERG partnered with the INSURANCE PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LONG ISLAND INC (IPALI) to collect donations for the The Safe Center LI. The Safe Center LI restores hope for victims of abuse by protecting and empowering those affected through a variety of resources, like a 24 hour hot line, counseling, and free legal assistance. H2M received donations from employees during a “Wear Your Jeans to Work” event, which was matched by H2M. With the contributions from IPALI and H2M’s donations, the Women’s Leadership ERG assembled 25 gift baskets filled with necessities and luxury items in including a $50.00 gift card to Walmart and made a cash donation of $2,000.00 to the Safe Center LI. H2M architects + engineers is a proud supporter of the Arbor Day Foundation, which is a non-profit conservation and education organization of nearly 1M members with a mission to inspire people to plant, celebrate, and nurture trees. Today we are highlighting our Landscape Architecture Department and the arborist services that they offer! Our Landscape Architects are ISA Certified Arborists (International Society of Arboriculture) and have provided arborist services including tree identification, tree inventory and assessment, and tree mitigation. These services have been provided for Municipal, Water, Residential and Real Estate development projects requiring Environmental Permitting, Site Plan Approvals, Tree Preservation Plans and Tree Removal Permits.
