Last night H2M’s Patrick K. Cole, PE and Brian Van Nortwick, EIT attended ACECNJ’s 47th Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet. Our Howell H2Mers accepted an Honor Award for their “Rapid Deployment Treatment Capacity Expansion” project in Monmouth County, NJ.
H2M’s Project Engineer, Tim Nordberg, P.E., will be presenting “Batch - Style Membrane Bioreactor Allows Municipality to Reuse Wastewater, Meet Low Total Nitrogen Limits, and Increase Capacity” at 4:00 PM today during the WED09 - MBR systems session for wastewater at the 2018 Membrane Technology Conference and Exposition in West Palm Beach, Florida ! The presentation will describe how the town of Riverhead, NY, is saving 100 million gallons per year of potable water by reusing its wastewater to landscape irrigation.

Project Spotlight: Even though there is snow on the ground, temperatures are still rising and paving season is back in full swing! Contractors at the College of Staten Island have started working on the last stretch of roads for the Reconstruction Campus Loop Road project, which will total over two miles when completed. Work is scheduled to be completed in April!
