HCLTechies were at AWS re:Invent 2022 in Las Vegas to talk about CloudSMART for AWS, continuous modernization experience and how they are helping enterprises worldwide accelerate their cloud business transformation journey.
HCLTech celebrated Thanksgiving in the spirit of giving back to the society. We’ve had volunteers across the U.S.—Cary, Frisco, Jersey City, San Antonio, Seattle and Sunnyvale—collectively sort and repack an estimated 35,000 pounds of food at their local food banks to provide 30,000+ meals for communities facing food insecurity. Volunteers also prepped their local community gardens for the next season's harvest.
COP27 has focused the minds of political leaders, private businesses and civil society. We are delighted to announce the launch of our Sustainability School and Climate Change course for all 220,000+ employees worldwide. Developed by AXA Climate, the course will help our people understand the science behind climate change and give them practical advice to reduce carbon emissions as individuals and collectively as a business. At HCLTech, we strongly believe in playing our part.
HCLTech is proud to announce three new nonprofit partnerships to help us scale our social responsibility (CSR) efforts in the Americas – Girl Up, United Nations Foundation, Feeding America and One Tree Planted. These partnerships, along with the commitment of our HCLTech volunteers, will help further our efforts in addressing some of the world’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges, which include education and gender equality, food insecurity and climate change. With the CSR arm of HCLTech, the HCL Foundation, we look forward to continuing to supercharge progress for our communities across the world.
HCLTechies in Seattle planted 12 trees, 47 shrubs and 84 ground cover plants in the Thistle Street Greenspace. This activity was collaborative, rewarding and lots of fun. With support of our CSR partner-One Tree Planted, we are restoring native plants to an essential ecosystem.
