This week, our summer interns had the opportunity to meet with Dan Berg, Chief Financial Officer, during a lunch and learn at our home office. Our New York interns joined via Zoom. Dan shared his journey with Hightower, which started when he was an intern himself, 14 years ago. He shared many insights about his journey, from witnessing Hightower grow from a startup to its position now, and all the different roles he played that brought him to the CFO position. Before concluding the session, Dan answered various questions from the interns about Hightower, professional development, and AI. This past week, Hightower hosted its annual Accelerator Growth Retreat at The Montage in Laguna Beach, California. This retreat hosts a managing partner from each of Hightower’s 20 highest-growth teams of 2024. Designed with the idea of leveraging the power of peer-to-peer sharing, this event featured discussions on best practices for growth, leadership and business management and also included a ton of fun local activities!
