Sara Ashenafi is a standout Lobby Ambassador who has been working at the Waldorf Astoria New York for 36 years. During her time with the Waldorf Astoria, she had a desire to return back to her native Ethiopia to see how the country had grown. While staying in Ethiopia, she came across an orphanage that was in dire need of help. Sara and the Hilton Worldwide team partnered in donating beds, training and everything else that was needed to improve the conditions of the orphanage which is now doing great.
