Total for our "Dollars for Doers", a program that gives employees a chance to earn a contribution to an approved non-profit organization for every hour the employee volunteers for that cause was $1.8 million. “This is about making a difference," said Mara Downing, director, Global Brand Management and Corporate Citizenship and president of the John Deere Foundation. “We aspire to help solve world hunger, empower others through education, and develop our home communities. Those investments were largely supported by our employees and we couldn't be more proud."
