You may have heard that we're one of the best places to work in Atlanta, but did you know that we've successfully transitioned our unique culture to our office in Bangalore? Culture cannot be easily lifted and shifted from one geography to the next, and we're proud to be featured in an article by the Indian Institute of Management for this accomplishment.
We're excited to announce that one of our team members, Josh Archer, is the new Organizer of the Midtown .NET Meetup. Here is what he had to say about why he decided to get this group up and running: "After recently moving back to Atlanta, I was looking to join the tech meetup scene. I quickly noticed that there really aren't many meetups focused on .NET in the Atlanta area. My goal with Midtown .NET is to create a forum for our exploding technology scene, where we can all get together to speak about our experiences, share our thoughts, and just socialize with others that feel our joy (and struggles) in .NET development. Join us in our journey to build a strong community!" Come check out our first meetup: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMdvM

We love supporting entrepreneurs - especially when they are from our home town! We're excited to be a part of the tech scene in Atlanta and the city's thriving culture.
Nir Valtman, Kabbage's first CISO, spoke at Georgia Tech's Cybersecurity Lecture Series last week. This is a one-hour speaking engagement from a thought leader who is advancing the field of information security and privacy. We are proud of what Nir has been able to accomplish and are excited for him to share his knowledge to other future security leaders!
A few weeks ago we had a local ATL reporter in the office to do a feature on Kabbage culture. That piece is now live!
Atlanta is a key market for the financial services industry, has a reasonable cost of living, and has one of the largest airports in the world. On top of that, our arts and entertainment industry is booming (we aren't called the Hollywood of the South for nothing). The Washington Post agrees that if you're considering moving to Atlanta, it's worth it. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQSxw
