Every project starts with a challenge. A need to go further, be cleaner, and work smarter. In Saudi Arabia, our team is solving some of the industry’s most complex challenges—helping to shape the future of energy in the region. From harnessing the power of green hydrogen to supporting the development of solar-powered gas wells, and ensuring the reliability of critical hydrogen and gas supply plants, our teams are bringing expertise, innovation, and problem-solving to every stage of the project lifecycle. Here’s a glimpse of some of our recent work: 🔹 A mega-scale green hydrogen facility, targeting 600 tons of carbon-free hydrogen production per day. 🔹 The first solar-powered unconventional gas wells in the region, advancing sustainable energy solutions. 🔹 Reliable maintenance support for a major hydrogen and gas supply facility, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Energy in Saudi Arabia is evolving, and we’re proud to be part of that transformation—driving progress, one project at a time.
We're proud to share a meaningful milestone from our team in India. Kent has partnered with Chirag Foundation to launch an Integrated Village Development Program across Mahalepada, Mahasepada, and Ghodipada villages in Maharashtra. With the goal of curbing migration and enabling year-round agriculture, the program is bringing access to reliable water, clean energy, education, and health improvements to over 1,170 villagers. Some of the key developments include: ✔️ A solar-powered water pump and 2.7 km pipeline ✔️ Solar lamps for all 234 households ✔️ Household water filters for clean drinking water ✔️ Solar-powered school and Anganwadis, with libraries, fans, lighting, and TVs ✔️ Solar streetlights for safer communities The impact is already visible – in classrooms, in homes, and in the stories shared by the community. This is what sustainable change looks like. Learn more on our website.

🧠 Floating wind is moving fast—and designs are getting bigger, smarter, and more complex. As turbines grow in size and projects head into deeper waters, the need for faster, more efficient design tools is becoming critical. Traditional methods can’t always keep up with the pace of innovation. That’s where machine learning is stepping in. In this new article, Johan Daelman shares how we’re using machine learning to optimise floating offshore wind turbine design—reducing steel use, improving performance, and speeding up early decision-making. Read more on our website about how we’re helping engineers make smarter choices, faster.
WindEurope 2025 is in full swing – and it’s already been an exciting few days of insight, connection, and collaboration across the offshore wind industry. Yesterday, our Principal Engineer Graham Holden spoke on reducing jacket transportation fatigue damage conservatism through time-domain analysis. His session sparked some brilliant conversations on designing offshore wind infrastructure that’s both smarter and safer. Our team will be on site for the next few days, sharing how we’re supporting the next generation of wind projects with deep offshore expertise and practical engineering. Come and say hello at stand D-B22 – we’d love to meet you. Explore how we're making waves in offshore wind on our website.
📣 We’ve just published our UK Gender Pay Gap Report 2024, and we’re proud to share the progress we’ve made since last year—while staying clear-eyed about the work ahead. ✅ Median pay gap down from 22.9% to 20.1% ✅ Mean pay gap down from 21.3% to 17.1% This is satisfying progress—and a reflection of the intentional work happening across our teams. However, our overall gender split still doesn’t reflect the same momentum. While it remains broadly aligned with the wider industry, we know change here is essential—and we’ll continue to champion the efforts needed to make it happen. Read the full report on our website.
🔋 Turning excess wind power into clean, storable energy. This latest thought leadership piece from Kerry Hunter explores how renewable hydrogen from surplus wind energy can be the key to a resilient, decarbonised energy grid. With the UK aiming for 10 GW of low-carbon hydrogen production capacity by 2030, there's an urgent need to bridge gaps in transmission, storage, and hydrogen production infrastructure. At Kent, we're proud to be contributing to this transformative journey. From conceptual studies to EPC, our expertise is helping build the UK’s hydrogen future. Read more about how we’re unlocking the potential of renewable hydrogen on our website.

🌟 What does 18 years without a recordable OSHA incident really mean? It means showing up every day with a “Nobody Gets Hurt” mindset. It means pushing through challenges, while keeping safety at the heart of everything we do. Our Beaumont Operations team has reached an incredible milestone: 18 years without a recordable injury. That’s nearly two decades of proving that safety and operational excellence go hand in hand. Working alongside ExxonMobil, the team delivers engineering, commissioning, construction management, and technical support services, never compromising on what matters most—operational excellence, with safety at the core. Join us in celebrating this achievement and the people behind it. Here’s to raising the bar for safety, every single day. 👏
Kent has been awarded a place on the UK government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) ENZPS Framework to support the country’s energy transition. Valued at up to £250 million, this framework will see Kent providing strategic advisory, engineering expertise, project management, and environmental advisory to help accelerate the UK’s path to net zero. We look forward to bringing our advanced digital solutions and expertise to support DESNZ’s critical mission of creating a sustainable, resilient energy future.
