As we reach the end of 2025, it’s a great opportunity to look back on everything we’ve delivered this year, and our brilliant teams who have made it possible. Across projects, markets, growth and new capabilities, our team has shown up day after day with care, collaboration and commitment. Supporting one another, navigating change and delivering to the highest standards for our clients. In this end-of-year message, our CEO John Gilley shares his reflections on 2025, recognising the trust of our clients and the contribution of our people across the business. And because no end-of-year reflection is complete without a soundtrack, our 2025 Kent Spotify Playlist is live, curated by Angelica Tenjo. From Andy Williams to Gloria Estefan, there’s a good chance you’ll catch yourself humming along 🎶https://bit.ly/3MRatPk.
2025 has been a year of momentum for Kent. Across the globe, our teams have secured a series of exciting project wins that reflect the trust our clients place in us and the value we bring as their consulting, engineering and project delivery partner. From early-stage studies to full EPCm delivery, we’ve been chosen to support projects that: - Advance the energy transition through lower-carbon solutions - Unlock efficiency and resilience in existing assets - Enable new fuels, new technologies and new pathways for sustainable growth - Push the boundaries of what’s possible in engineering Each win is a testament to the expertise of our people and the strength of our partnerships. Whether in conventional energy, renewables, decarbonisation, chemicals, or new energies, our teams continue to prove that Kent is the partner clients turn to when outcomes matter. Take a look at some of the projects defining our year.
At the recently held OEUK Offshore Decommissioning Conference, our CEO John Gilley delivered an inspiring message about the future of decommissioning, and the crucial role it will play in the evolving energy landscape. From early engagement to agile integration, John outlined how smarter, coordinated models of delivery implemented by the supply chain will shape the next era of decommissioning. And with growing global demand, this work is becoming a cornerstone of a responsible and resilient energy system. At Kent, we are deeply committed to the growth of the decommissioning sector. With the expansion of our decommissioning capabilities, strengthened further by our acquisition of EXCEED Energy, A Kent Company, we continue to invest in the sector across the UK and beyond. Our Kent Canada team worked with the JGC/Fluor BC LNG Joint Venture to deliver a multi-phase campaign covering construction, commissioning, and start-up. The facility in Kitimat, British Columbia, is Canada’s first large-scale LNG export terminal, designed to produce 14 million tonnes of LNG a year from two processing units. Across utilities, Boil-Off Gas (BOG), and perimeter OSBL areas, our team completed major electrical and instrumentation installation activities. This included installing 1.2 million metres of cable, delivering 30,000 system check sheets and more. Find out more about the project: https://bit.ly/4oFMoYZ

With process safety, the biggest lessons aren’t always found in the headline events we all know. More often, they’re hidden in the stories nearly forgotten. In his latest thought leadership article, Senior Process Engineer Ewan Stewart shares how he conducts painstaking research into overlooked industrial incidents and brings their lessons back into today’s engineering conversations. At Kent, this level of curiosity and rigour reflects our own commitment to safety: thorough, continuous, and grounded in learning from every possible source.
