In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth, we’re excited to spotlight a few of our Black employees at Lands’ End. Our next feature is Diana, one of store sales associates. On what this month means for her: “Black History Month is the one month out of the year where we get to highlight the achievements of African Americans in multiple settings. We get to see all the positive achievements put on display on television, at school, at work, etc. It’s nice to see part of my heritage be praised for all the good that it’s brought to the community and I’m proud to be a part of it!” On the role family plays in her life: “My family wouldn’t let me give up. I have a support system where, if I have a goal, they will make sure I stay on the right track to achieve it. For example, my final semester of college occurred during the online learning phase of COVID-19, and I was ready to give up. But my family wouldn’t let me do that when I was already so close, which allowed me to graduate with my bachelor’s degree this past December. I am lucky to have a family that pushes and supports my dreams.
Today's the day. The winning pieces from Banking on Style are now live for Chase employees! A little history on this one: Back in December 2019, Essence & JPMorgan Chase & Co. met at our WI headquarters to kick off Banking on Style, a design competition for emerging creatives of color. Rising designers Undra Duncan, Sergio Hudson and Deidre Jefferies were all tasked with creating a capsule collection of women’s and men’s tops and one accessory to be worn by 40,000 Chase branch employees. In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth and this year’s theme “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity,” we’re excited to spotlight a few of our Black employees at Lands’ End. Next, we're featuring Alexis, one of our customer care home agents. On what this month means for her: “Black History Month is a time to celebrate the accomplishments, life lessons, and contributions that African Americans have made to society. It’s a time to celebrate the determination and integrity of African Americans. A month to review and appreciate the hardships and tribulations that African Americans have suffered for years on end.” On the role family plays in her life: “My family has always taught me to work hard for what I want and fight for what I believe. And nothing in life is free and handed to you.” On what she loves most about her family: “What I love about my family is the way that we all come together and support one another. In times of need, I know that I always have family by my side every step of the way."
In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth and this year’s theme “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity,” we’re excited to spotlight a few of our Black employees at Lands’ End. Our 2nd star, Tyana Gayles, is one of our store managers. On what this month means for her: “For me, Black History Month is a celebration of black excellence. It’s a celebration of our accomplishments as a people and community. There are so many layers to us hidden within history that we’ll never know all there is to know. It’s a time to dig deep into that history, to learn and celebrate those unsung stories.” On the role family plays in her life: “My family has shaped the entirety of who I am. My mom has been the backbone of our family with her constant sage advice and compassion. I find myself following right along in her footsteps. My daughters made me and continue to make me strive to be the best version of myself. Not just for me but for their formative, impressionable minds.”

RIS News | Retail Info Systems News just named us one of the “10 best mid-sized American retailers to work for”! Shoutout to all our employees for making Lands' End a great place to work. We're so thankful for all you do.
While the majority of us work from home, we're putting our headquarters to good use! As of February 8th, Lands' End has partnered with the Iowa County Health Department to transform the Comer Center — a fitness and recreation facility at our Dodgeville, Wisconsin, headquarters — into a COVID-19 vaccination clinic. The use of this space will allow the Iowa County Health Department to significantly increase the amount of people they can immunize. We are grateful for this opportunity to support our local community and give back. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/371u2Ne
