More than 400 managers traveled from Langan’s 30+ offices to Walt Disney World for our 2022 Managers Forum last week. This year’s forum doubled as our delayed 50th anniversary celebration, which was originally scheduled for March 2020 before we proactively cancelled it due to the uncertainty of COVID-19. Focused on the theme "Resilient & Growing," the multi-day event empowered employees to celebrate our resilience and achievements over the past year while exploring ways to bolster our growth, collaboration, and success going forward. This month Black Professionals@Langan has held a variety of initiatives within and beyond the firm to commemorate Black History Month. From emails spotlighting African American leaders in the AEC industry to webinars for STEM-minded K-12 students, Langan is doing its part to promote and inspire AEC careers for underrepresented groups. In the months ahead, all of Langan’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) will hold internal and external events to continue the firm’s ongoing effort to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
