Celebrating women in tech is key to driving innovation and inclusivity. That’s why we recently hosted our first Women in Tech Hackathon with 18 Women from our Tech employee resource group (ERG). Under the theme "Customer Delight," these brilliant women dedicated two days to discovering new ways to enhance our customer experience. The event concluded with inspiring presentations of their work. Our Women in Tech ERG is one of seven employee-led resource groups at LegalZoom. Each group is committed to personal and professional growth and fostering a supportive community.

Recently, LegalZoom leadership gathered in scenic Sausalito, CA to check in on the progress of our goals for the year—and start thinking about future growth opportunities. The two-day retreat offered team building, a Q & A from LegalZoom customers, and a panel with four different Secretaries of State Business Service Directors—all with the goal of finding ways we can better serve our customers and help launch small businesses more efficiently from the very start. The team also reviewed insights from a survey of more than 4,000 formation customers to learn more about their business journeys, pain points, and ways that we could help support them. As a remote-first business, this meetup was a special opportunity for our team to learn and grow together in a fun and meaningful way. We’re looking forward to putting all of these learnings into action for LegalZoom customers.
