To celebrate World Clean-up Day and offer a remote option for volunteerism, Monica Hauser Wolff, Director Corporate Citizenship and ESG Communications, led a global clean-up activity with a straight forward challenge: get out and clean up! "I am so proud of the Lenovians who chose to volunteer in this way. Cleaning up is an act of shared responsibility, and I was impressed to see employees doing this activity with their children! The idea to volunteer for World Cleanup Day came from our colleagues in Europe, and with the support of the global philanthropy team, I've just carried it forward as a great way to engage employees who work remotely or can't make it to in-person events during Love on Month of Service. More than 60 employees from around the world signed up, and it's amazing to see their simple act of picking up in their communities. To me, it demonstrates our respect for the environment and each other. When I think back on that day, I can't help but feel that I should always bring a bag with me on my walks. It was so easy to make a positive impact on my community and leave my favorite places better than I found them." #LoveOn #LenovoTalent
