Over the summer, President and CEO, and Wasington University alum, Alaina Macia had the opportunity to join the Center for Experiential Learning in the Olin Business School to work on a summer project in which WashU students worked in teams to solve a business challenge as part of their academic program. Earlier this month, the MTM Nevada team had the opportunity to attend this year's Governors Council on Development Disabilities. This Council engages in advocacy, system's change, and capacity building activities for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Pictured is MTM Trainer Constance Cottrell, and event attendee JP, from Nevada High School. Their convos on open communication and clarity helped show the importance of anti-bully awareness.
