We asked some of our Mobility Leadership team what the importance of Disability Awareness Month meant to them. Nicole Mukome, Program Manager in St. Louis, MO said, "The most rewarding thing about working with people with disabilities is the opportunity to learn from them and to put myself in check to what my own myths and ignorant parts are. I would be remorse not to say the gratification of tangibly helping individuals stay engaged in society."
