We've reached the halfway mark! Methodist Richardson recently held a topping-out ceremony to celebrate reaching a significant milestone in its $85 million vertical expansion. We're adding two new patient floors with ultimately 150 new beds. Completion is expected in late 2019. The first phase of construction included two projects that are already complete: the hospital’s ninth operating room and a seven-story parking garage. We are so excited!

"My name is Priya Sharma and I'm a millennial. I started my career as a labor and delivery nurse at Methodist Richardson, but after one year, I started wondering what my next move should be. I quickly signed a contract to be a travel nurse, packed my bags, and moved to a small town in Nevada. After just three weeks, I realized an important lesson — the grass isn’t always greener." - Priya Sharma, Methodist Richardson. Read Priya's story here! http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQJGV

Why did we make the choice to collaborate with Mayo Clinic? It may seem obvious, but Methodist’s goal was and still is to differentiate ourselves in quality care. The hallmark of Mayo Clinic is teamwork. It’s been that way since the first Mayo Clinic physicians began working together in the late 1800s. For 150 years, their approach to healthcare has been rooted in the idea that the best patient care is achieved when experts from a variety of medical specialties can work together, focused on the patient. Working with Mayo Clinic is still a good fit today — read why here! http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQSPK
Four years ago, Methodist decided to collaborate with one of the leading names in medicine, Mayo Clinic, by becoming the first Texas healthcare organization to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network. Comprised of more than 40 like-minded member organizations that represent facilities in the United States, Mexico, China, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, the network is a unique collaboration that grants physicians on the medical staff at Methodist special access to Mayo Clinic knowledge, expertise, and resources.
