We are proud to announce another major step towards executing our sustainability strategy: We signed a virtual power purchase agreement for EMD Electronics for the construction of the Liberty County Solar project in Texas, US. Combined with MilliporeSigma ’s involvement at the Azure Sky wind and storage project in Texas, US, we will thus match 90% of our purchased electricity consumption in the US and 55% globally. By 2030, we aim to match 80% of our global purchased electricity consumption with renewable energy.
