CB Culture. Culture Council. Community Brands created a Culture Council in December 2021. The Culture Council is a group of individuals, company-wide, who have come together to work across boundaries creating a positive team and company culture where people feel seen, heard, recognized, and supported. This group is committed to work together to plan, coordinate, and execute impactful initiatives that drive a successful team culture! The goal is to encourage team members to continue to cultivate a positive environment for themselves and others – looking to champion words such as inclusivity, positivity, safety, integrity, balance, respect, teamwork, and awareness.

Our latest CSR activity for Pune employees, linked the spirit of giving with the Diwali festival by spreading smiles. We partnered with the Robin Hood Army (RHA). The RHA is a non profit organization that collects surplus food from restaurants and distributes it among the less fortunate sections of cities across India and 12 other countries. While supporting food distribution, our employees realized that many of the men, women & children were in need of clothing, so we were inspired to start a clothing donation drive and visited 3 settlements to deliver the goods.
Pune, India, team member Akshat Rajvaidya, Aptify Network Security Analyst, started "Box of Happiness," an initiative with the sole purpose of spreading smiles. "There are so many things we get in abundance and don’t even realize that somewhere a child might be deprived of it," explains Akshat. "One such thing is chocolate! It is something that all children love eating and sharing. Something that can bring smiles to their faces instantly."

Membership Solutions, Product Marketing Manager, Tirrah Switzer and her husband are big supporters of Girls Inc. of Pinellas, because in her words, the nonprofit is dedicated to the whole girl and emphasizes STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education. "As a woman in the technology field, I believe we should encourage young girls to pursue education in STEM," says Tirrah, who invited fellow CBers from the Membership Solutions team to join her at a table she sponsored during the recent STEM Woman of the Year Celebration Luncheon. Photo includes: Meghan Furtado, Shannon Hofmeister, Michelle Schweitz, Grace Gardner and they were joined by 3 other ladies that work for local technology companies in Tampa Bay. We love their involvement with STEM, Technology and community involvement! #serviceminded #CBCares #purposedrivencompany
Most of us don’t know 5-year-old Benjamin, who suffers from severe epilepsy or 10-year-old Yazan, who’s facing end-stage liver disease. But we, as a collective Community Brands family, have touched their lives in a profound way. You see, we granted Benjamin’s wish to go on a Florida Theme Park Adventure and meet Spiderman and Yazan’s wish for a gold PlayStation 4. At two recent major industry events, ASAE Annual and AFP Icon, we partnered with the organizations and hosted auctions using our very own GiveSmart software to raise money for Make-A-Wish. In addition,” she says, “many of our Community Brands partners donated auction items – really cool things like trips to the Bahamas - which ultimately increased bidding and donations." “We have a longstanding relationship with Make-A-Wish,” adds Melea Guilbault, SVP, Channels and Alliance Partners. “Long before we acquired GiveSmart, Make-A-Wish was one of the many large national nonprofits raising millions of dollars through the platform. It's a win-win that we can make a difference using our own software to impact families."
