The National Law Enforcement Museum unveiled its 911 Emergency Ops exhibit, an interactive experience from Motorola Solutions, which allows visitors to take on the important role of a 911 dispatcher when the Museum opens on Oct. 13. The exhibit puts visitors in the seat of a 911 dispatcher in a public safety command center with simulated emergency scenarios and shows them why this communications system is essential to the work of law enforcement.
As part of Motorola Solutions' 90th anniversary celebration, the Motorola Solutions Foundation is opening new doors to female innovators. Our charitable giving arm donated $90,000 to the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). This gift enables SWE to launch its inaugural global scholarship program and advance educations of women pursuing careers in engineering. This first-of-its-kind gift is expected to fund 18 scholarships to women pursing degrees from one of the 3,800 ABET-accredited programs at colleges and universities in 31 countries.
