Our chairman and CEO, Greg Brown, recently spoke at the Milken Institute 2023 Global Conference. Greg highlighted #MotorolaSolutions’ critical focus in “connecting public safety to private institutions…solving for safer neighborhoods, safer schools, safer stadiums and safer hospitals.” AI was central to the discussion, with Greg describing the power of automating and accelerating how public safety agencies can keep communities safe. Today, #MotorolaSolutions announced its Q1 2023 financial results. “Q1 was an exceptional quarter, highlighted by double-digit revenue growth across both segments and all three technologies,” said Greg Brown, chairman and CEO, Motorola Solutions. “Record first-quarter sales, orders and ending backlog positions us very well for continued growth. As a result, we’re raising our revenue and earnings guidance for the full year.” • Sales of $2.2 billion, up 15% versus a year ago • Products and Systems Integration sales up 18% • Software and Services sales up 10% • Record Q1 ending backlog of $14.1 billion, up 5% versus a year ago • Awarded $340 million ten-year IDIQ contract from U.S. Air Force to provide LMR services
