Recruitment fraud is an illegal scam that exploits job seekers into providing personal information or money for fraudulent ‘job opportunities’ on career websites. This kind of fraud is usually done through unsolicited emails and text messages, or through fake websites and social media accounts posing as a company. Those engaging in this illegal activity may request personal or sensitive information with the intent of gaining access to your bank information, credit card number or social security number. Northrop Grumman recruiters will never: - Request payment for applications or interviews. - Offer resume coaching or training for technical assessments. - Extend a job offer without conducting an interview. - Send communication from unofficial email domains (e.g. Yahoo, Gmail, etc.). Learn how to identify legitimate communications from our team and protect yourself from recruitment fraud.
Our team has been made aware of fraudulent job posts and profiles that convincingly appear to be Northrop Grumman. As a reminder to our applicants, Northrop Grumman utilizes our own internal Talent Acquisition team to fill our employment needs. Our careers site can be found at: northropgrumman.com/careers/. If you are contacted by someone about a job at Northrop Grumman, please verify the opportunity on our Careers site before engaging with that contact. We only schedule interviews with qualified candidates who have applied to a job posting through our Careers site. Northrop Grumman does not ask for any financial commitment from a candidate. Be careful if contacted and take steps to protect your personal information. Northrop Grumman assumes no liability for recruitment fraud. If you see a suspicious job posting, contact Indeed and they will remove the listing from both sites. If you think you have been a victim of a fraudulent job scam, report criminal matters to the FBI. To learn more about recruitment fraud and where to report it, contact the Federal Trade Commission.
