We wanted to make sure that everyone in Rhode Island had the opportunity to attend a cookout this summer. Thus, the Dog Days of Summer Rhode Island Grill-Out was born! Together with 13 community assistance partners from across the state, the OSJL Charitable Foundation arranged the serving of 25,000 hot dogs with all the fixings. At each location, OSJL associates volunteered to ensure everyone at the events enjoyed the free lunch. Thanks to Amos House, Be the Change, Crossroads Rhode Island, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence, Jonnycake Center of Peace Dale, MAE Foundation, McAuley Ministries, New Beginnings, Rhode Island Dream Center, Rhode Island Free Clinic, and We Share Hope for hosting!
