Ocean State Job Lot associates and customers helped thousands of children get ready to go back to school. Our Massachusetts customers donated school supplies, and our truck drivers delivered their donations along with additional product provided by Job Lot to Gillette Stadium for the Operation Backpack event. The New England Patriots and the New England Revolution invited hundreds of volunteers to fill 15,000 backpacks for children of military families. Volunteers from Job Lot, The Home Depot and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts worked as a team to fill the backpacks, which were then loaded onto Penske Logistics trucks and distributed to families through the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation Inc.
