A group of over 800 Paycor associates – including sales, marketing, operations, and alliance partners – gathered in Cincinnati, OH for three days to immerse themselves in closing out a strong FY23. Referred to as Sales Rally, the theme of the event was ACCELERATE! Time was well-spent connecting and learning from one another, strengthening skills, and of course, having some fun along the way!
Based on feedback from our recent engagement survey, Paycor is doubling down on enabling our associates to work at their full potential. In March, our Customer Success team engaged in a week-long virtual summit designed to empower the team as our customers’ trusted advisors. Success leaders and support partners facilitated 17 live sessions to deepen knowledge of Paycor products and to harness the soft skills needed to deliver an unrivaled customer experience. The Customer Success team plans to host similar events on a regular cadence to continue investing in professional development.
At Paycor, we're proud to have celebrated Women's History Month by recognizing the incredible achievements, leadership, courage, strength, and love of women in our organization. We enjoyed hearing insights from McKinsey, seeing pictures of our associates wearing purple, celebrating through 400+ recognitions posted, and sharing ideas in a Hackathon. As Women's History Month comes to a close, we remember that true progress for women is a year-round effort. While March provides an important opportunity to recognize and celebrate women's achievements, it's critical that we continue to invest in developing female talent throughout the corporate landscape in organizations of all sizes and across all industries.
Paycor launches new cohort of the executive development program: “Our Executive Development Program is a unique opportunity to be selected and this is an investment in these leaders’ growth and development,” said Martin McCarthy, Director, Talent Management and Learning. “This program is designed for senior leaders to understand who they are as a leader, where they want to go and how they will get there, translating into greater impact for themselves, their teams and Paycor well into the future!” The Executive Development Program is a six-month long program containing assessments, one-on-one coaching and group sessions that are completely customized to both the individual’s and the group’s development needs. Some of the learning opportunities the participants will get to experience include Leader as Coach, Influence and Innovation, with a mix of in-person and virtual environments – they’ll even get to be on-site at the San Francisco NASDAQ office! Past participants have called it a “career-defining” opportunity that allowed them to “increase self-awareness and be more strategic.”
Paycor has been named a 2023 Top Workplaces USA from Energage! The Top Workplaces program has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards. This is Paycor’s third consecutive acknowledgment from the organization. “Over the last year, we have prioritized team engagement as well as employee growth and development, which has enabled our business to reach new heights,” said Raul Villar, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Paycor. “Being recognized as a Top Workplace again further demonstrates our commitment to live the cultural best practices we advocate to our clients that drive employee engagement and business results. Paycor’s achievements over the past year proves that talent always wins – if you’re able to hire the best people, regardless of where they live, you’re going to have a better company.”
Empowering leaders to build winning teams is our mission, it is ingrained in everything we do here at Paycor, even down to how we educate and train our teams. In January our sales learning and development (SL&D) team hosted a sales leadership “SkillUp” in Dallas where our sales leaders from across the country participated in three days of learning. They went through sessions on critical conversations, partnership management and how to coach and develop their own teams. Throughout the year our SLD teams host different versions of “SkillUps” with our sellers and sales leaders to provide continuing education and resources they need to drive success.
Congratulations to our 22 Paycor associates who graduated from Bonfire Women in December! Through a six-month immersive curriculum, Bonfire Women equips rising-star women with the tools necessary to gain greater agency and authority in promoting themselves and their ideas, influence decision-making more efficiently, and increase the value of their contributions to their organizations. A proprietary blend of learning methodology is used to provide an experience where program leaders are first-in-class facilitators and selected for their experience and expertise from across the globe. We have no doubt these women will make an impact in their career and community immediately.
The Paycor Community Partners program provides a way for associates to share and gain support for charities they are passionate about. Since the inception of Community Partners, Paycor associates have participated in a total of over 1900 events, completed over 60,000 volunteer hours, and donated $2.3M! In November, our People Team spent time giving back to long-time partner, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens. The team volunteered to hang lights for their 40th annual Festival of Lights. We just scratched the surface of the 4 million LED lights in total that will be hung but were proud to contribute to something that brings the community so much joy!
