Mill Pond resident, Julie Smith made and presented a beautiful American Flag quilt to a long time, fellow Mill Pond resident and Veteran, Clifford Hunting on Veterans Day. Clifford is pictured here with his wife, Lorraine Hunting and as you can see Clifford just loved this gift and they both were amazed at the quality of work Julie put into this amazing quilt. Mill Pond and Peabody Companies cannot thank Julie Smith enough for tirelessly working on not only quilts, but the dozens of masks she has made for residents during the pandemic. Thank you, Julie! #wearepeabody #strongertogether
On this day and every day, we would like to take a moment to offer thanks to the extraordinary men and women who have protected our nation throughout history. #VeteransDay "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." -- John F. Kennedy

We are honored to be a part of the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s (NLIHC) Housing Providers Council, a national group of affordable housing providers who have pledged to help low-income renters register to vote. “At Peabody, we believe that our residents count,” said Kate Swope, Director of Resident Services, noting that the company presently sends out voter information flyers and voter registration cards and has worked one-on-one with residents to help them register to vote. “Voting and completing the census are essential to ensuring that state and federal dollars are allocated for affordable housing and other important programs that support our residents. Providing a voter registration card to new renters at lease sign up would be a proactive measure for Peabody to make it clear that we believe our residents’ voices are important.” #wearepeabody #everyvotecounts
