This month, NEJM Group published data on our maternal vaccine candidate for Group B streptococcus (GBS). The data suggest that maternal vaccination may help protect newborns and young infants against invasive GBS, a common cause of sepsis, pneumonia, and meningitis in newborns. We are excited to continue progressing our GBS vaccine candidate to help prevent these potentially devastating illnesses in infants.

We asked Elizabeth @thatizzygirl93 to tell us a bit more about working at Pfizer 💬 "I’m Elizabeth Kornegay, a Technical Project Manager with the Global Technology and Engineering group. opportunities to work with great minds are everywhere. My goal was simply to learn a lot about a lot. Starting my journey in both Quality Operations and Quality Systems roles, I learned to be versed in many areas of the site and know how it all connects. I enjoyed knowing about the big picture of our processes and find value in knowing the “end to end” of manufacturing. Now working with GTE, I am able to apply and expand on that foundation in relation to a larger network. I plan to passionately continue with this growth at Pfizer, and never downplay or discount any opportunity to expand and I encourage others to do the same! My hobby is polymer clay art, where I primarily make earrings under @craftedbykornegay. Aside from my family and faith, I am always proud to share is my artwork as earrings and all my Pfizer gear!" Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth! We are lucky to have you 🥳
