With the last month of summer upon us, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate our partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and show our appreciation to everyone who’s helped support it throughout the business! 🍋 For more than a decade, we’ve proudly worked with Alex’s in support of their mission to find a cure for childhood cancer. Through employee donations, local lemonade stands, company events, volunteer efforts, and other unique methods, we have been working all summer to “Power the Cure”. We are excited to finish strong this summer and continue to support ALSF in the future. Learn more about our partnership here!
We added some new photos to Glassdoor showcasing our 2024 Nitro Create event. Create is an annual event at POWER where members of our Business Technology department gather from around the world to unite at our HQ and tackle projects living on the cutting edge of the tech space. The result? Nitro - a company-wide tech platform as nimble and powerful as the people who built it. Get your inside look and check out some of the highlights here.
Culture is about building community. What creates a workplace community is shared experiences that foster in-person connection. At our company, we dedicate over two percent of top-line revenue towards 250-plus yearly touchpoints of employee engagement. Leadership could wave the flag and re-route that spending elsewhere, but we don’t. These experiences are how employees grow as individuals, leaders, and professionals.” - POWER COO, Tim Wenhold Take a look at the strategies these people-first businesses are using to position themselves for a bright future.
POWER is ranked 8th on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials list! 🏆 This achievement wouldn’t be possible without our incredible team. Their unrelenting ambition and commitment to continuous improvement have fueled our business for more than 30 years. Thank you, POWER people!

In case you missed it - this year POWER honored Juneteeth by taking action. Our Black Employee Resource Group (B.E.R.G) volunteered with Urban League of Philadelphia to host a professional development day for graduating Philadelphia high school students. The impact could be felt by everyone in attendance, and it was an honor to be able to give back to our local community. We’ll always be committed to creating meaningful shared experiences for our employees and change within our communities. POWER has three major initiatives, Power Women’s Initiative (PWI), Power Veterans Initiative (PVI), and Cultural Diversity and Inclusion (CD&I). This year we hosted our first-ever joint initiative summit combining all three! This assembly created a new opportunity to further our collaboration as a company, learn more about each other, and grow closer together continuing to bridge the gap towards understanding among our communities. This was a huge milestone for our company and we couldn’t be more proud of our initiatives. Click the link below to get an inside glimpse of “The Summit”!
Striving to make a positive impact is at the core of our DNA at POWER. This May, we had the opportunity to give back to our local community during the inaugural Delco Gives Day. Delco Gives Day is a 24-hour day of giving, where nonprofits, businesses, donors, and volunteers come together to make a positive impact on Delaware County. This year’s Delco Gives Day impact included 9,600 donors raising over $1.7M for about 300 different local nonprofits. Click the link to learn more about Delco Gives and our impact!
