#Halloween is BIG for us at #PowerSchool! We take pride in our awesome company culture and being able to celebrate in such fun ways. Every year, teams across all offices collaborate and get creative with themes to decorate their space. We host a costume and talent show contest, where teams can be awarded scariest, funniest, and most creative. We invite #PowerSchoolers to bring their children in for some safe and insane trick or treating through all of the decorated areas of the office, and get to enjoy a pizza party afterwards! This is an annual event that we all look forward to each and every year! Last week #PowerSchool celebrated #Diwali, the Festival of Lights, across all Centers of Excellence. This celebration included all #PowerSchoolers enjoying beautiful lights, traditional Indian food, music, Diya decorating and painting activities. Fleet Feet Folsom & Roseville stopped by the Folsom #HQ today bringing with them a complete in-store shopping experience. Their team of expert fitters used fit id 3D scanning technology to discover needs and find great shoes and inserts for walking, running, and other sports or physical jobs. This event included a premium shoe selection, professional services from fit specialists, and other important essentials. Last week, the #Folsom #Finance team spent time giving back. Feed My Starving Children, an organization geared toward feeding starving children hungry in body and spirit, have created a simple process of collecting donations to fund meal ingredients and finding volunteers to hand-pack the meals. They had a mobile packing event at a local university and some of our #PowerSchool team was fortunate enough to volunteer. Here are some of the #KansasCity team who donated a day of service to Alphapointe day camp for visually impaired youth.
