March is Women’s History Month. At Regions, this is a special time to remember the past, celebrate the amazing women in our company and communities, and empower our customers through financial advice and guidance.
For 15 years, Regions has honored distinguished Black leaders with ties to the company’s home state of Alabama with the History in Motion Award. The annual award and program recognizes a special individual who enriches our communities with their selfless commitment to making a difference.
Regions was among the top 100 companies in the Index “hiring” category, a measure of how well companies hire people without degrees and those with little experience.
Regions Bank is designated among Silver 2024 Military Friendly® Employers. The Military Friendly® Silver Designation is awarded to companies who meet the requirements and score within 20% of the 10th ranking Employer in their category. Only a select group of companies achieve this honor.
Evergreen is a yearly associate-recognition week. It’s also a time to appreciate the impact Regions has on communities within its footprint.
Regions Bank has received the highest possible score of 100 on the 2023 Disability Equality Index®, the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide. With this year’s distinction, Regions has now been named a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” for the third consecutive year.
Great Place To Work® and Fortune have selected Regions Bank for the 2023 Fortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance™ list. Earning a spot means that Regions Bank is one of the best companies to work for in the country.
Regions recently welcomed the 2023 Emerging Talent Program analyst class for a busy and educational orientation week at the Regions Bank headquarters in Birmingham, Ala. The group spent a day together beautifying the green space at Hayes K-8 School in Birmingham in partnership with the United Way Hands On and Jones Valley Teaching Farm.
“Regions Bank’s Emerging Talent Program can serve as that first step in building a successful career in banking and finance,” noted Robin Brown, Asset Management Strategy and Operations Manager, who is leading Wealth Management participation in the internship and development programs. “Seeing the light in these eager new professionals’ eyes seems to really brighten our own associates!”
DEI activities at Regions are focused on these three areas of impact: workforce, workplace and marketplace. The result is a stronger business that is better able to grow and reach more customers, while ensuring all members of its workforce have a seat at the table.
