Resideo recently opened its new, ultra-modern operations center in San Luis Potosí (SLP), which is home to more than 500 Resideo employees that span various departments including customer care, human resources, finance, and sales support, among others. But Sarah Sandok Rabinovici is perhaps the best example of why such an undergraduate major is smart preparation for a law career. Today, Sandok Rabinovici is general counsel of the Americas for security and data privacy for Resideo, home security, comfort controls, energy efficiency, and wholesale distributor of a low-voltage security products company. The company is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, and she is based out of Melville, New York, a Long Island suburb of New York City.

Owning a home has long been considered a pillar of the American Dream. Thanks in part to recent low mortgage interest rates and hybrid work models, the allure of owning a second home has also become a reality and part of many homeowners' pursuit of happiness. In fact, in the U.S., demand for second homes recently hit an all-time high. For example, in January 2022, demand for vacation homes in the U.S., was up nearly 90% compared to pre-pandemic levels. Home prices in seasonal towns – where second homes are often located – are rising faster than prices in non-seasonal towns.
