Rochester Electronics and Whittier Tech Celebrate Students' Achievements! Rochester Electronics has established a dynamic partnership with Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, in Haverhill, MA. Together they are dedicated to nurturing and empowering future generations of engineers through a robust student co-op program. At Rochester, manufacturing co-op students explore a spectrum of hands-on experiences, from material inspection and assembly engineering to CAD design and test operations. This immersive journey provides invaluable real-world experiences that prepare them for success in the field. Annie Silliker and Nate Shramko, co-op students from Rochester and Whittier Tech, showcased their skills at the 50th Massachusetts SkillsUSA State Leadership & Skills Conference. Competing in the Electronics Technology category, they faced off against the top students in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Both competitors were trained by Rochester Electronics’ Hugo Hurtado, Associate Manager of Assembly Engineering. 🏆 Annie's outstanding performance in the Principles of Engineering competition earned her the bronze medal. Nate, a senior from Groveland, MA, excelling in Electronics and Robotics studies, clinched the esteemed gold medal in the Electronics Category. 🌠 Congrats Annie and Nate — Rochester Electronics and Whittier Tech are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our co-op students! 🚀
