Teamwork in action—on the course and beyond! Events like our SHI & Exos 5K Series bring employees together across teams and locations, reinforcing the collaborative and people-first culture we’re proud of.
Earth Day may be recognized once a year, but sustainability is embedded in how SHI operates every day—including our commitment to responsible technology lifecycle management. In recognition of Earth Day, SHI hosted an IT recycling event at our Austin office in partnership with Ingram Micro. More than 200 employees participated, responsibly recycling laptops, monitors, TVs, and other electronics. In total, more than six pallets of electronics were collected. Our impact extended beyond the office as well. SHI’s Commercial Cares group partnered with Keep Austin Beautiful for a community cleanup at the Archstone Greenbelt, helping remove more than 1,100 pounds of waste. Additionally, our Asian Business Community ERG led a garden cleanup in preparation for future planting. Learn more and see photos from these events on our LinkedIn page!
Women represent 29% of the global tech workforce and 14% of tech leaders. In cybersecurity, women account for 22% of the workforce. The gap is clear and it represents both a challenge and an opportunity. Women’s History Month is a timely reminder that progress doesn’t happen passively. It requires intention. As the largest privately held Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise in the U.S., we’re focused on supporting and advancing women at every stage of their careers.
We’re proud to share how SHI supports and celebrates women in tech — from intentional career development to inclusive culture and community. Learn more about how we’re investing in the next generation of female tech leaders.
Our people are what make SHI a great partner to do business with—and a great place to work. That’s what makes being named to the Forbes America’s Best Midsize Employers 2026 list especially meaningful. This recognition reflects what matters most to us: creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to do their best work. We’re proud of the culture our teams continue to build together. Thank you to everyone at SHI who brings that culture to life every day.
Happy Veterans Day from SHI!
Juneteenth is a moment to honor the past, reflect on the stories that have too often gone unheard, and recommit to building a future rooted in freedom, unity, and progress for everyone. As we pause to reflect, we also recognize that honoring this day means listening, learning, and continuing the work long after today ends. A heartfelt thank you to the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire for guiding this year’s observance with a powerful theme: “A Reckoning: Reclaiming the Past, Remembering Black Voices, Reshaping the Future.”
Diversity and inclusion are more than values. They are part of how we show up every day. As we celebrate Pride, we’re reminded of the power of being seen, heard, and valued for who we are. This month and every day, we celebrate what makes each of us different and commit to creating space for everyone to thrive.
This May, members of SHI’s Asian Business Community (ABC) continued their AAPI Month celebration through service. In partnership with AMD, teams in both Austin and Somerset assembled care packages for local communities. A total of 151 hygiene kits and 300 snack packs will be donated to Elijah's Promise in New Jersey and Angel House Soup Kitchen in Texas. It’s inspiring to see celebration and community impact come together!
SHI is proud to announce that SBTi has validated our science-based climate targets.
