Though our team predominantly works from home, we have plenty of occasions to gather in person each quarter. Whether it’s in our offices in Suwon, Korea and Mountain View, CA, or at industry and Next-driven events, there is no shortage of face to face time. In Q2, we gathered at a key web3 event, NFT.NYC. The week was spent strengthening great relationships with our portfolio companies, partners, and the internal Samsung Next team. We partnered with our counterparts at Samsung Electronics America to leverage the amazing space they have at 837 to create 837/NEXT - a series of thought-provoking events, interactive sessions and celebrations for members of the web3community. We also kicked off our "open studio" oasis in Flatiron, and hosted a party at the Standard for our corporate partners and portfolio companies alike (can we go back yet?!) The week was a huge success overall and served as an important reminder of how industry events can be catalysts for our work. We're counting down the days until our next gathering in Miami during Art Basel!
