Shout-out to our Plano team! 📸 We’re proud to see our Texas team featured in Community Impact for the incredible work they’re doing behind the scenes. From photo books to metal prints, our 330-person team helps bring customers’ most meaningful memories to life through a combination of hands-on craftsmanship and mechanized production. Site Director (and first Plano employee!) Chris Mooney Jr explains, “The products we make, they last for generations. It's things that can be passed down.” Thank you to our entire Plano crew for your expertise, heart, and dedication to our customers. 🧡
We’re thrilled to welcome Emily Whittaker as our new Shutterfly CEO! Emily brings a wealth of experience in the personalized products space, having led VistaPrint’s North America business and global marketing in recent years. Her expertise spans marketing, technology, and customer experience – and she’s passionate about building brands that truly connect with people. Her approach is customer-first, innovation-driven, and rooted in operational excellence. We couldn’t be more excited to have her leading us into the next chapter of growth across Shutterfly and our family of brands. And, she's on a whirlwind tour visiting our teams and learning about the business as we gear up for our busiest time of year. Last week, she shared her initial thoughts on what makes Shutterfly unforgettable, why she can't wait to roll up her sleeves and get to work, and hosted a roundtable with our leadership team to discus our critical holiday plans. We’re energized by her vision and leadership, and excited for this next chapter together. Welcome aboard, Emily!
🌟 This summer, our Fort Mill, South Carolina manufacturing team completed the DiSC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness) learning program. The goal? To strengthen team collaboration, communication, and self-awareness by helping them better understand their own styles, and those of their teammates. 🤝 The DiSC experience provides tools to build stronger connections, reduce conflict, and foster a more inclusive and productive workplace. 💡
Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are at the heart of Shutterfly’s culture, creating spaces for learning, connection, and growth. Recently, our Women in Leadership ERG brought employees together—both in person and virtually—for a hands-on skill-building experience that blended professional development with a bit of fun! Through an interactive mocktail demonstration, participants not only mastered the art of crafting delicious drinks but also had the opportunity to network, collaborate, and strengthen connections across teams. Events like these remind us that growth isn’t just about what we learn—it’s about the relationships we build along the way. A huge thank you to our Women in Leadership ERG. #WomenInLeadership #ERGs #StrongerTogether
We are once again honored to be named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2025 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. This recognition is the result of a rigorous evaluation, which includes analyzing public data, specialized insights, HR professional interviews, and over 1.5 million company reviews. More than 250,000 employee interviews helped spotlight organizations championing inclusion, equity, and belonging—and we’re thrilled to be among them. As Peggy Anderson, our Vice President of Talent, beautifully expressed: "This recognition means so much to us as a company. I am grateful for our Employee Resource Groups, their leaders, and all the fantastic folks who made this happen. This year, our executive leaders invested their time and talents in our ERGs, sharing their experiences and authentic selves. Here’s to building on our awesome progress and keeping the momentum going in 2025!"
Through Shutterfly’s Open Door Project (https://lnkd.in/eFpYP-pD), our teams are making a meaningful impact in the communities where we work and live. Recently, we had the privilege of participating in two volunteer events that allowed us to give back and support incredible causes. Tempe, AZ - Our Shutterfly family took part in the ALS Arizona Walk, walking in honor of our incredible colleague, Maceo Carter, who was diagnosed with ALS. Maceo is a fierce advocate for disability rights and has even spoken at Yale University on the challenges faced by Black caregivers. His resilience and advocacy inspire us every day, and we were proud to walk alongside him and others raising awareness and support for the ALS community. Eden Prairie, MN - Our team joined forces with Hearts & Hammers, a non-profit dedicated to helping those who are physically or financially unable to repair their homes. Together, we worked hard to rehabilitate a local resident’s home, bringing comfort, safety, and a little extra joy. Huge shoutout to the Hearts & Hammers team for their dedication and for allowing us to play a part in their important mission! Grateful to all our volunteers for showing the heart of Shutterfly in action! 🧡 #ShutterflyCares #OpenDoorProject #Volunteers
Our hearts are with our friends, colleagues and customers who have been impacted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. As always, we are committed to helping you rebuild photo memories lost and will reprint photo books, canvases, prints or ANY Shutterfly product, free of charge. When the time is right, families impacted can contact us at 1-888-760-9535 for more info. It’s been touching to see photos and video footage of firefighters taking the time and care to rescue family photos and albums from evacuated homes in the path of the flames. In honor of their service from the frontlines, we are donating to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation to help fund equipment and tools for LAFD members battling the fires in their communities. Stay safe LA.
Our busy elves at Shutterfly’s Fort Mill facility are hard at work bringing your beautiful, personalized products to life! To keep spirits bright, Santa himself has been stopping by to treat the team to festive lunches, fun gift drawings, and more. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone across all our production facilities for your dedication and hard work this season. You’re making magic happen for our customers! ✨📸 #ShutterflyTeam #HolidaySpirit #Gratitude #ProductionHeroes
Our teams work incredibly hard all year. And before we head into the busy holiday season, we paused to celebrate the creativity and energy of the people behind our beloved products and brands (Snapfish, Spoonflower, Lifetouch). They're the ones bringing magic and joy to our customers this season! #HappyHolidays #EmployeeCulture #Shutterfly
At Shutterfly, we work to make life’s moments unforgettable. And through our Open Door Project, we help provide access to life’s important moments – big and small – in the communities where we live and work. Earlier this week employees from our Tempe, Arizona location volunteered at local nonprofit, Paz de Cristo, for their monthly service event. Together they served 329 meals to individuals and families in need.
