We recently held our virtual reception for the 2021 Edison Scholars. There are few things that inspire more confidence in the future than spending time with young, bright, motivated students with a passion to make a difference in their communities. Each year, Edison International awards $40,000 scholarships paid by shareholder funds to 30 high school seniors who live within Southern California Edison (SCE)’s service area to pursue studies in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM). I am so impressed by the caliber of students who apply, and their knowledge and passion came shining through among a very gifted and talented group of applicants. Whatever path they ultimately choose, I wish them success and happiness and couldn’t be prouder to call each one an Edison Scholar!
