Tammy, a Spire employee in Mobile, Alabama, volunteers each year at Camp Rap-a-Hope, a free camp in Mobile for children who currently have cancer, or who are in recovery. She's been the Bacon Queen for 10 years now, and she says it's the best thing she does. But she didn't always feel that way. Tammy is Fuel for Good in her community - and here's why. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQkRq
In 2013, Tod, Spire's Right of Way manager, had a simple question. What if there was a tool like Google Maps for utilities - one that included information including city events, the times of day different crews can work on particular streets and different pavement regulations? That question turned into the most innovative public works tool in the U.S. and Canada. And now, Tod's been awarded the prestigious American Public Works Association Manager of the Year award. Way to go! Learn more: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQMG6
During times of hardship, something as simple as a home cooked meal with those you love can make a world of difference. Spire employees in Mobile teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, AL and chef Sean McLaughlin to prepare a very special luncheon for families staying at the home. Thank you for allowing us to serve you. #SpireServes
"That's not my job." That's simply not something Ramona, senior business development rep for Spire, would ever say. Ramona recently went above and beyond to help a St. Louis-based restaurant get natural gas service. A few days later, we received a kind letter from their management thanking her for the help. And we want to shout it from the rooftops! Way to go, Ramona.
Last week, Habitat for Humanity - Saint Louis broke ground on their 400th home in the St. Louis area. We're proud to support this incredible organization as they enrich the quality of life for families in our community.
Spring cleaning is a little easier when it helps others ☺️ It's always an honor to spend time with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. Thank you for all you do to help families stay connected when they need it most. From our talent team: Before you walk into an interview, do your homework! Not only will it help you have a better and more natural conversation, but you'll also get a feel for the company's culture and if it's the type of work you'd enjoy doing.
Smile - it's Friday.
