This past month, we celebrated our remodeled stores with a $1,000 donation to a nonprofit chosen by each local store team. In May, we donated to the Hamilton County Humane Society (chosen by the Noblesville, IN, store) and Paws of Adams County IN (chosen by the Decatur, IN, store).
TCC was named an IndyStar Top Workplace for the fourth year in a row! We also received four individual awards for innovation, compensation & benefits, leadership, and purpose & values! This award was determined solely on feedback from our Indiana employees in an anonymous third-party survey. Thank you to our amazing team!
At TCC, we have teamed up with Wireless Zone® to randomly select customers to win $10,000 for themselves. We also give them an additional $10,000 to donate to a nonprofit of their choice. Our most recent winner is Ellen B. from Grants Pass, OR. She chose to donate to the South Coast Humane Society, the nonprofit where she got her boxer.
Thank you to everyone who voted for your favorite animal rescue organization to receive the $10,000 grant from TCC and Wireless Zone®. In a surprise turn of events, we decided to give all three rescues $10,000 since they are such deserving organizations. Today is National Day of Prayer. At TCC, we are proud to offer the Interfaith Prayer and Encouragement employee resource group. This group provides a place of employees to gather, share, support, and encourage one another through faith.
Today is Teacher Appreciation Day! At TCC, we love supporting teachers! Earlier this year during our Teachers Rock Community Event, we gave all of our stores $100 to support a local school. We also gave 10 teachers a $1,000 Amazon gift card. All the teachers who entered and didn't win, received a special gift from us today.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month! This month is about fighting the stigma, providing support, and educating the public about mental health. At TCC, we are proud of our employee resource group, PAUSE. Through Patience, Acceptance, Understanding, Support, and Empathy (PAUSE), we’re able to provide guidance through life experiences to help navigate the road ahead.

Our next Community Event is Rescues Rock! Our stores will be partnering with local animal rescue organizations and hosting supply drives during the month of May. Plus, select stores will be hosting in-store pet adoption events.
