We are proud to announce our participation in the Black in Fashion Council (BIFC) as a member of the Active Allyship program committed to joining together to secure the advancement of Black individuals in the fashion and beauty industry. Over the next three years, Tapestry will work with #BIFC Executive board members who will provide feedback, insight and counsel on the execution of our equity, inclusion and diversity strategy. In celebration of Black History Month and the announcement of this partnership, we hosted a special edition of our internal Unscripted speaker series - where we invite guests who live our values to talk about current issues and topics - featuring BIFC co-founders Lindsay Peoples-Wagner and Sandrine Charles. Our Black Alliance ERG led the conversation with Lindsay and Sandrine, discussing diversity in fashion today and the actions we can all take for a more equitable, inclusive and diverse culture. Thank you to Lindsay, Sandrine and our Black Alliance ERG for the honest and empowering session! #OurTapestry #blackhistorymonth

Last Friday, Tapestry, through the Coach Foundation, participated in New York City’s first ever Career Discovery Week, where we hosted 50 students from High School of Fashion Industries and from Chelsea Career and Technical Education High School for a day of career exposure and panel discussions. The students experienced an immersive tour of the Coach Archive and our in-house leather workshop, where they could see how products come to life. In addition, Tapestry employees across five departments including Product Development, Visual Merchandising, Global Merchandising, Global Procurement, and Design conducted career panels highlighting their job and department functions, while sharing valuable insights and personal experiences to help students forge their career path. We are proud to have participated in Career Discovery Week, which opened the doors of 180 companies for 6,000+ students, in partnership with the NYC Department of Education and Partnership for NYC. #OurTapestry #CDW2020
We’re thrilled to share that Tapestry has been named to the 2020 Forbes “Best Employers for Diversity” list for the third year in a row! This achievement is based on analyzed results from an independent survey of 60,000 employees answering questions about their employers regarding topics of age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQA+ and general diversity. Inclusion is at the heart of who we are and what we do, so we couldn’t be more proud to receive this recognition! #ourtapestry #bettertogether

A few weeks ago, our Chief Digital Officer, Noam Paransky, spoke on stage at the National Retail Federation (NRF) Conference with Rob Garf, VP of Industry Strategy and Insights at Salesforce Retail. They took this #Garfie selfie to help raise money for the Retail Orphan Initiative, a nonprofit that raises awareness and funds for orphans worldwide. Salesforce’s commitment to donating $50 for every #Garfie selfie posted (up to $10,000) to the cause, really inspired us! As a result, we are excited to share that we will be matching their donation with a $10,000 gift to Retail Orphan Initiative through the Coach Foundation. We are proud to announce that in support of the Australian bushfire relief efforts, the Coach Foundation is donating US$100,000 (approximately A$145,000) for relief and recovery efforts that are supporting people affected by Australia’s bushfire crisis. The gift will be made to the Australian Red Cross through the Foundation’s Fund at CAF America. Australia is facing one of the worst bushfire seasons in its country’s history. Within our Tapestry family, we have over 500 team members and more than 40 stores in Australia, in addition to colleagues around the world whose families in Australia are living in the midst of the bushfire’s devastation. Our North America-based Tapestry employees are giving back by taking advantage of our matching gift program and having personal contributions to the Australian Red Cross or to a qualified relief organization of their choice matched.
