TNC's 2023 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Annual Report tells stories of meaningful collaborations, successes, and lessons learned from the past year. We had a wonderful opportunity to join others at the Disability: IN conference in Orlando, Florida last week. We learned and more importantly, we listened. The many takeaways from the conference will help us continue to drive disability inclusion to create a workplace where people can thrive.
We recognize that conservation is best advanced by the leadership and contributions of people of widely diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities. TNC is proud to host our annual staff virtual Diversity Day! We're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organization. Diversity Day offers employees the opportunity to engage and network with colleagues and partners. Employee Resource Groups, the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, and a keynote speaker will share their stories and lessons learned about their diversity, equity, and inclusion projects. Just another small step toward an equitable workplace for our global team.
"The Green 2.0 Pay Equity Pledge is an essential campaign focused on promoting pay equity within environmental organizations, particularly for people of color, with a special emphasis on women of color. It recognizes the undeniable wage gap that persists, resulting in women of color receiving significantly lower compensation than their peers...Together, let us work towards a world where everyone is compensated fairly, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or gender."
