At TNC, we aim to create a world where people and nature thrive. Acts of racism and violence threaten this goal, harm our communities and put vulnerable lives at risk. Period. We cannot remain silent. ( CEO, Jennifer Morris) Protecting our Earth means creating a future where all members of our community can thrive and safely enjoy activities in nature.
As we find ourselves navigating through the current global crisis, it important too take a deep breath and practice stress management. Depending on where you live, this can have harmful effects on your well being due to air pollution. Read about how our scientists are addressing this public health issue and other challenges nature faces, the health of all living things depends on it!
Looking for something new to watch? TNC has partnered with PBS to bring viewers on a journey to explore the relationship between water and life on Earth. This series inspires hope through the endless solutions nature provides. Jennifer Morris has officially joined us and we're already inspired by her! Over 1000 colleagues gathered today to learn about Jennifer's plan for One Conservancy and how she is leading us through uncertain times! In her own words, "Lasting change has to come from within." We're most energized by hearing her commitment to diversity in the workplace and equity and inclusion.
We're continually inspired by our employees, especially during these uncertain times. Hear stories from around the world as we carry our mission forward with a sense of community while adapting to our work.
Our first Virtual, Bring your Child to Work Day was a blast! The kids of TNC dressed up as superheroes for the Earth and created their own recyclable superheroes. Our goal is to impact future generations and further our mission whether from the comfort of our homes or out in nature!
Even though things may seem bleak in the world right now, TNC is still committed to creating a world in which people and nature thrive. Your Talent Acquisition Team is finding ways to inject fun into our daily work life and building a sense of community from afar!
Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Here at TNC we like to celebrate the earth everyday! Check out how our employees stay connected with nature everyday. 🌎
Many of our staff are working at home. With school closures, those with little ones are also dealing with full houses! You might be too. Visit our youth curriculum platform, The Nature Lab, and keep them engaged (and occupied!).
You don't have to be a scientist to work here - hear from our Wisconsin Chapter and how Lizzy's HR background attracted her to TNC! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ckc5TacX8nw&list=PL-o5jtJniubZjnNuR4zpvmTBaiC-ZiSbJ&index=9
