Today, TEL was formally awarded the U.S. Department of Labor’s 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Award for this year. TEL was highlighted as 1 of 58 employers who have been recognized as a recipient of this award since the program's inception in 2017. The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level veterans' employment award that recognizes a company or organization's commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development. This year, the awards were presented at a virtual ceremony hosted by Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia. TEL's Larry Smith took part in the ceremony. To view the recording of the ceremony, you can visit hirevets.gov/ceremony.
