We have tremendous work to do, to eliminate injustice toward people of color. A message from Doug Jaeger, Ulteig President & CEO, on #GeorgeFloyd
Once again Ulteig’s Denver office has been recognized as a Top Workplace through an annual survey of employees conducted by the Denver Post. We are again among the companies ranked as a Top 150 Workplace! Being named a Top Workplace is significant in many ways. Importantly, the award is based solely on the feedback from our Denver employees through a survey that focused on questions about organizational health factors such as alignment, engagement, leadership and total rewards. A Top Workplace designation also keeps us on the path to fulfill the first Bold Step of our Strategic Plan: “Attract, Acquire and Develop Talent.” Achieving and maintaining a Top Workplace designation helps Ulteig recruit and retain our outstanding team members.
Ulteig is actively taking steps to protect the health and safety of our employees, our clients and our partners while maintaining our high standard of service. See the message from President & CEO Doug Jaeger about our company’s preparedness and response measures to COVID-19.
Many state and local governments are issuing “stay at home” orders to slow the spread of COVID-19, while making exceptions for essential services. Ulteig provides services classified as part of the essential critical infrastructure workforce, a responsibility we take very seriously. Ulteig’s employee-owners are currently working with our valued clients remotely, safely and seamlessly, helping to maintain the vital services communities depend upon.
In times of crisis, making a positive impact on life in our communities is more important than ever. With thousands of children losing access to school lunch programs, Ulteig is helping feed healthy bodies and healthy minds by donating to three organizations serving kids in need.
Ulteig develops innovative solutions to stay safe and productive during COVID-19 disruptions, helping clients meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints.
During this challenging time, it's important to look for opportunities where we can have a positive impact in our communities. Ulteig has encouraged all employees to play a part during this time of need, the company has set aside funds to support employee ideas and donations on behalf of our communities' COVID-19 relief efforts. #UlteigDonates
On a recent sunny spring day, residents of a Fargo senior living facility enjoyed a special concert from David Ellingson, Design Engineer (PTS-Substation). He chose the facility because his wife’s grandmother is a resident. “I know they can barely leave their rooms right now,” David says in the story appearing in the local publication InForum. “So I thought it’d be something good to do.” The nearly hour-long concert gave residents a break from the ordinary, and added some fun to their day. David says that “We should all be doing whatever we can. Quarantines are worse for most people.”
Ulteig is proud to announce we have moved up 48 spots to #163 on the 2020 ENR Top 500 Design Firms list!
