At our recent Nurse Camp in Des Moines, 7th and 8th graders got a jumpstart on life-saving skills, earning their first aid and CPR certifications. Health Sciences Career Day, hosted by the Iowa Hospital Association and Iowa Department of Education Iowa Department of Education, introduces middle and high schoolers to the many rewarding and in-demand careers in our field.
