This week, we begin welcoming our 152 interns to the Maxar team. While many internships have been disrupted because of the pandemic, we are proud to move forward with our 2020 Maxar Internship program. Our diverse group of interns, representing 72 universities, will work remotely on functional teams based out of office locations across the U.S. Throughout the program, the interns will have opportunities to gain industry-related work experience, participate in career development workshops, and learn about our company, culture and mission. We would also like to thank our Talent Acquisition team and their partners in the business for organizing and facilitating this virtual-work program, which will enable us to maintain social distancing and protect the health and safety of our interns and our employees.
